Wonderful quotable line from this strip.
Wonderful quotable line from this strip.
Seen on JWZ’s Livejournal: Abhay Khosla’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
The full series can be seen here (just keep clicking “Next entry”).
Cities! The post on JWZ’s Livejournal.
Low-Rise is a precarious assemblage of thousands of free-standing stacks of staples densely tessellated to create a city-like mosaic. Like a city, the staples are subject to the elements, on a micro scale. The slightest breath or vibration and the domino effect kicks in.
OK, so it’s a pop culture reference. But.. yes! From Dresden Codak.
Check out this guest comic I just did for good old Kate Beaton!
Genius. The post on JWZ’s Livejournal.
Absolutely amazing video. Turns a mostly mediocre song into an epic story. Check the shout-outs to the Tank. EVERY chiptune concert actually ends like this. P.S. We bring the party. The post on TCTD.
The guy who makes Sexy Losers.. continues to make Sexy Losers. Just in case you wanted to know. His most recent strip.
Hopefully this makes more sense in color, but I have the feeling that it’ll be another one that is funny only to me (sigh). I’m taking a short break this month to dedicate myself to a test that I have at the beginning of July. There’s more to come, however!
Haven’t listened yet but these guys keep getting better! Starscream’s new album:
In the not so distant future awaits the election of the first third party candidate to the White House- they will hail from the Space Party, a political coalition founded by astrophysicists, former democrats and ex-NASA employees. In their 8bitpeoples debut EP, “Future, and It Doesn’t Work”, Starscream tell a tale of victory, science, and potentially catastrophic foreign policy.
Edit: this is one of my favorite albums of the year. You should listen to it.
Ooooooh. Apparently there’s a Red Dwarf movie coming out.
Logrusweaver writes “It looks like Red Dwarf is finally returning! Red Dwarf: Back to Earth is airing in 3 parts in the UK starting this Friday. It seems to be a 3-parter followed by a ‘Making Of’ special. Not trying to give away any more of the plot than the title does, but it does involve the crew finally returning to Earth. (Just hope it’s not a bombed out planet with ‘space angels’ running around…)”
